Hey there, I’m Lify ! A digital artist that fell in love with One Piece, and most especially with Law and the Heart crew! They’re just a bunch of soft, supportive guys that were meant to find each other, and I’m fond of their cute found-family dynamic. They have a very special place in my heart and I hope I can give them the spotlight they deserve !I’m a page artist for three zines under my artist name Polarysse, as well as the new Shipping mod for the @opluffyzine, as well as a buyer for several zines. I’m super interested in the zine space in general and have been following several projects, but this is my first time starting and running one. One Piece always holds a special place in my heart after following it for at least the past ten years, and ever since the Heart Pirates’ appearance in the manga, I love the dynamics and bonds of the crew as well as how close they are. I’m super excited to help bring their heartwarming and wholesome vibes to life!In terms of experience, I’m a Writing mod for the @KidKillerZine, and a writer for the @StrawheartZine under my AO3 name OutstandingMoralFiber as well as another zine that has yet to announce contributors. I’ve beta’d and modded other fandom events before, so I'm hyped to be getting more involved in the zine space! 💛

Law is my favorite Heart Pirate member for pretty much every reason possible. I like Bepo because he’s floofy, Shachi & Penguin because of their dynamic, but Ikkaku & Hakugan are my favorite character designs aside from Law 💛

Hi, I'm Sunny! I've been into One Piece for the last few years, and the Heart Pirates absolutely stole MY heart. I have possibly too many headcanons and thousands of thoughts about them daily. I'm as normal about them as I am about Rosinante.I've worked on several zines over the last year, mostly in graphics and formatting positions. I'm the Head Mod on the Corazine & Blonde Bombshells, as well as part of OP Summer Zine, Rock the Boat, & Thatch Zine.

I love all of them, but my favorite-favorite Heart Pirates are Penguin and Shachi. I cannot separate them, it is illegal.

When I heard about this project, I knew I had to be in it. I've loved the Heart Pirates since their debut. Rude creepy captain with a polar bear and a bunch of dorks in jumpsuits? I want in.

Law. I mean, he's one of my OP faves in general, and could go on about all the reasons why, but I want to point out how much he cares. This is the guy who interrupted the escape from an admiral to free a slave, and did the freeing before making his recruitment pifch. That says a lot about him.

I'm beyond thrilled to have a chance to explore their characters and interactions with each other <3I'm a graphics and formatting mod for the OP Shanks and xReader zine, as well as graphics mod for the Smoker zine and formatting for the Denji zine. I'm also involved in different mod positions in a couple of other zines!

Heart Beats: A Heart Pirates Zine will be SFW only, and focus on the bonds between our favorite pirate crew! We will follow the timeline starting from how the crew was born, how they met, and continue along their adventures and travels to the present, as well as explore the "what ifs"—what if Shachi is the chef? What if Penguin is part-penguin? What if Lamy joined them?The possibilities are endless!

| A: | A zine, shortened term for fanzine, is a non-official publication focusing on a specific thematic. It is usually featuring a collection of artistic works such as illustrations and stories organized and compiled into a physical and/or digital book. |

| A: | This zine will be focused on the Heart Pirates crew and their platonic bonds. All pieces will be exploring and showcasing the warm, funny and emotional moments shared between the various characters that are part of the Heart Pirates crew throughout the years and destinations, as well as accentuating their individual job and talent on the ship (cooking, sewing, navigator…). This thematic will be approached through illustrations and writing. |

| A: | The zine will only be featuring content about the canon and platonic relationships between the members of the Heart Pirates crew, it won’t include any ships. |

| A: | Yes, this zine is strictly SFW. NSFW as well as very gore content is strictly prohibited. |
| Q: | Is this zine going to be physical, digital or both? |
| A: | The zine will be available in both physical and digital, and will also feature a digital modern AU add-on. |
| Q: | Will this zine be for profit, for charity, or half profit/half charity? |
| A: | The zine is half profit and half charity. We are however still discussing the charity that we're going to donate to, as we received many great suggestions in the Interest Check. An announcement will be made when it's determined. |
